Introduction

I am Gwendolyn Rose A. Bebita, you can call me Teacher Gwen. I am 25 years old from the Philippines. I have a degree in Accountancy and am a TESOL Certified teacher. I have been working as a virtual tutor teaching English as a secondary language to diverse students of different levels including Chinese, Vietnamese, and Japanese for more than 3 years now. I enjoy crafting things with my hands. I usually utilize my works as visual materials by relating them to the topic in the class. I also ask my students some interesting facts about themselves, and I listen attentively to them and always show that I am interested with what they have to say. Through these, my students will be able to feel the sense of belongingness and that they are welcome in my class. As a teacher and having been once a student, I believe learning shouldn't only be focused on what's written in the book or what the teachers have taught us, learning in general should include enhancing one's interpersonal skills.
